Undescended testicles

A condition in which the testicles have not dropped down through the inguinal canal from the abdomen into the scrotum.

Urethra

The tube through which urine and ejaculate pass out of the body.

Urethral opening

The opening in the urethra through which urine and ejaculate are excreted.

Urethritis

An inflammation of the urethra.

Urophilia

A sexual behavior in which a person derives sexual arousal from urine or urination.  Often referred to as "water sports."  Luv Liners are highly recommended for these activities. 

Uterus

A hollow thick muscular organ in the pelvic cavity of a woman where a fertilized egg implants and the fetus grows during pregnancy.

Vagina

A tube-shaped muscular organ in the female into which the penis is inserted during intercourse, blood passes through during menstruation and baby passes through during birth.

Vaginismus

A sexual dysfunction in which intense, painful muscle spasms occur uncontrollably rendering penetration impossible.  May be rooted in early trauma.

Vaginitis

An irritation, inflammation or infection of the vagina which may be due to bacteria, virus or yeast. Also referred to as vaginosis.  

Vas deferens

The ducts through which sperm pass from the testes to the seminal vesicles before ejaculation.

Vasectomy

A surgical procedure for male sterilization in which the vas deferens is severed or tied.

Vasocongestion

An accumulation of blood in the genital region (causing swelling or erection) due to sexual excitation.

Venereal disease

A disease transmitted primarily by sexual contact.

VENIS

An acronym for very erotic noninsertive sex termed by sex therapist Dr. Laura Berman , PH.D. which focuses on enhancing sexual pleasure and intimacy through erotic touch and foreplay without necessarily having penetration.

Vestibulitis

An inflammation on either side of the vaginal opening causing pain and discomfort during sex.

Vibrator

An electrically powered device that causes arousal or orgasm when held against the genitals.

Virgin

A person who has never had sexual intercourse.

Virginity

The physical state of never experiencing sexual intercourse.

Voyeur

A person who derives sexual pleasure from observing the naked bodies or sexual encounters of others often without their knowledge or consent.

Voyeurism

A preoccupation with seeing naked bodies and sexual acts.

Vulva

The external female genitals consisting of the clitoris, labia major and labia minora.
